Paper Cut Out Designs!

We did these awesome shape exercises with paper cut outs in class on Monday.  These two are my favorites and I brought them into Photoshop to clean and embellish them a bit.  Here are some Frankenstiens:

For some reason, these Frankenstiens became Bros.  I guess my Bro-dar has been going off a lot lately.

Monk Boy

A little monk boy I doodled a few days ago.  I decided to throw some water color on it tonight.  It's taken me a few tries to get over my fear of water colors, but I'm continually pleased by the spontaneity and rich texture of the medium.

Bus Ladies

It's become habit for me to do a lot of my drawing on the bus. These ladies were two of my favorites from the last week. Something about their composure and sense of style really made an impression on me.
