An Ocean of Sweets

A birthday card I made for my sister. Originally it was just going to be an island made out of candy, but then I added a face and some how tentacles appeared and now it's a sea monster. Oh well... happy accidents do happen!

Somewhere over the rainbow...

This was inspired by my friend and former coworker, Liz, who educated me about the true nature of where rainbows come from. Besides containing a wealth of completely scientific information on rainbows, she has an obscene collection of other esoteric knowledge and obscure historical facts. She is also a fantastic illustrator and designer, and I highly recommend checking out her blog. You will see many pretty pictures and you may even learn a thing or two.

Happy Father's Day!

It's been a little while since my last post. Things have been pretty busy since moving up to San Francisco and I have a bunch of work to post in the next few weeks. In the meantime here's a card I made for Father's day. Here's to you Dad!

Farewell Los Angeles

I got a full time job in San Francisco working for a social games company. They want me in house, so it looks like I'm going to be moving away for a little while. I love Los Angeles and it's been fun living and working here, but for the right job I'll move, and getting paid to draw and animate all day ain't a half bad gig. It's been fun LA, I'll miss you dearly.
